When should my newborn be photographed?

Newborns are typically photographed in the first 14 days (ideally between days 6-10) in order to get the very best out of your session.

When should I book?

Please try and book as early as possible, anytime after your 20 week scan is perfect. I will pencil in your due date so I know roughly when to expect you. When your baby arrives we will choose a date and time for your newborn session.

I do my best to accommodate last minute sessions. If your baby is already here please contact me for availability.

How long does a newborn session last?

I will never rush a session and only book one in a day. My aim is to have you feeling relaxed and enjoy every moment of your session without feeling rushed. Newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours.

Where is the newborn session held?

The natural light studio is located between Towcester and Milton Keynes, covering both Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. Clients find it really easy to reach from Buckingham, Bedford, Northampton, Brackley and surrounding areas. Parking is also really easy. My studio is warm, safe and comfortable for you and your new baby.

What is your style?

My newborn sessions are simple, beautiful documentary sessions. To ensure we don’t miss a moment I use a combination of posed and lifestyle photography, letting your baby take the lead. I photograph babies against beautiful blanket backdrops, without the use of props. This means you'll get breathtakingly beautiful photographs focusing entirely on your baby and family.

How do I book a session?

If you're ready to book or have any questions, please fill out the contact form on this website or call me on 07841754277.

When should my baby be photographed?

In the studio, babies are best photographed when they are sitting independently, but are not yet crawling. This is typically anywhere between 7-10 months of age, but can vary with each child.

When should I book?

The best time to book is as soon as your baby is starting to sit independently. If you'd prefer to book in advance, I can take a deposit and pencil you in to my diary. As soon as your baby begins to sit independently, get in touch and we'll plan a date and time.

Investing in your family memories

Printing your memories is something I'm so passionate about. Photography is an investment and one that becomes more valuable over time, unlike most of the purchases we make every day. It's something you deserve right now and an important heirloom for your children, and their children too.

Every product makes a beautiful addition to your box of digitals and prints already included with your session.

How do we order?

Approximately 2-3 weeks after your photography session you'll come back to view your images and collect your box. You'll then be able to see samples and decide if there's anything you'd like to order.

There is never any pushy sales or pressure to make a purchase. Payment plans are available on request.

What can I choose?

You may choose from prints, framed wall art and presentation items, or the beauty of having every image in one place in one of our stunning handcrafted fine art albums. The choice is yours and all products are available for viewing in person.

Product information

All products are printed using archival quality inks and museum grade papers meaning that unlike cheaper products, they will never fade or change colour and your images will look exactly how they are intended to look.

You are never obligated to print through me but if you do choose to print elsewhere I cannot guarantee the colour, quality or longevity of the prints.
